children are at home for 5 weeks,
all concerts, cinema, tasting are closed or postponed

Meursault Clos des perrieres 2008
Well : will be nice for a village, but it's the best area of meursault and not the best producer.
Lack of complexity, lack of nose and it cost 80-100€ !!

27000 cases or 30000 are very few regarding the 11 millions of people who are living in wuhan.

Ok robert, it’s more clear with your post.
All german riesling that i can see have few alcohol.
By the way, a lot of wine in the list of ylee are under 10degrees
And you will never see that in alsace (12-14)

I am not sure that there is a better value in white Burgundy today than Bouchard's Meursault Perrieres. I agree that it’s very very good with very Q/P ratio. Best value, ... maybe to much. Russell, it's done. I have drunk a dozen of dr loosen, jj prum in my life (old or young wine) Because a friend of mine love them and bring one or two at each monthly tasting. Availability is poor in Paris (and also for other countries it's the same thing) but some german cavists ship easily in franc...

CM premier cru Ramonet less than 100€ (except les ruchottes)
CM premier cru PYCM around 70€
Comte lafon charmes 200€
Roulot premier cru 250€

I really think it is a fact that: -German dry Riesling contains same level of alcohol as any other Riesling from Alsace or Austria -Aged German Riesling does not smell more or less than other aged Riesling Personal taste is another matter... No, Riesling from alsace : between 12,5 and 14,5 degrees ...

To say the truth, i have tasted very few wines of PYCM : twice red santenay and a meursault something. First santenay was good and the 2 others was average. Prices were not cheap because i have found them only on expensive winecellar So ... difficult to judge "What is the reputation of PYCM in ...

There are big differences between french (alsace) and german riesling.
I let the other answer for german riesling ( i don't like them : less alcohol and smelt more a oil barrel)
The 3 producers in list belong of the top : trimbach, boxler, deiss.

Grande cuvee's prices are growing up (lvmh need money maybe to buy tiffanys).
Around 170€ in france. (190$)
