I have learned (the hard way) that the key to keeping a lean inventory at home is to ensure that your offsite cellar is organized by drinking date. I'm going to have to start posting in this thread. My inlaws have a farm and raise grass fed beef as a side business/future retirement income. They obviously won't have the marbling that a lot of the steaks in here since they're grass fed, but the flavoring and quality is unreal. Next cow comes back...

My wife and I meal prep every Sunday, religiously. We eat about 8 or so lbs of chicken a week. We either dice it up and season and cook on the stove top in a cast iron, or I slow cook it and then shred it with some chicken stock and seasoning. Hope that helps.
