2019 Hofgut Falkenstein “Meyer Nepal”. Has that tangy orange fruit profile across the midpalate and finish that I enjoy so much. Just as good out of 750 mL compared to magnum, but opening the latter earlier this month was more fun

Light salmon color. Fresh strawberry, Haribo peach, orange blossom, crushed rocks, and lightly toasted bread. Fresh and vibrant on the palate with great precision. I think this could last another couple years at least but it's sooooo good right now.

I still love the noble sweet wines. I just don't find as many opportunities to open them, and outside of spicy foods and some roasted meat dishes or cheese I find less opportunity to pair them with meals than kabinett or off-dry riesling.
