Daisies remains one of my and my wife's go to's. What a great spot just starting to really push the spring menu offerings. I will be back several times this spring/summer.

FWIW I tasted jacquesson 742 when in Reims a month ago. Le wine bar (great spot) hosted the release party of sorts and I got to try it as well as 741 and 740. I was very impressed across the range. I bit for 3 bottles of the new 742!

Highly recommend the cocktail bar 'the old man'. Was there about a month ago and enjoyed it immensely. Very communal in nature so it would be cool solo too.

After a lot of anticipation and hype, Alinea did not let down. One of the most memorable meals of my life.

Enjoyed a bottle of 2012 Mousse Fils Champagne. Had a pour of Turley Zin they were pairing with the red courses. Both very good, but glad we skipped the pairings.

Been drinking a ton of Hop Butcher here in Chicago. Unbelievable IPAs.

Noteworthy:
- Super Gnarly
- Super Gnarly Milkshake
- Lemony Fresh
- Telehopic

All of those are DIPAs, hazy, and trendy as hell. But so delicious.

Highly recommend SKY. Service, glassware, the space...all top notch.

Food was excellent. Fois gras bibimbap may be my favorite dish of all time.

Oh yea, no corkage Wednesday or Sunday.

Would not be surprised to see a Michelin star in the near future.

couple weeks late, but had to sing praises for Daisies in Logan Sq. On the hip "fresh midwest pastas" trend. Really great food. Veggie and pasta forward, but not vegetarian. Awesome US and cali focused wine list with $15 corkage to boot. Amazing patio.

Great food at giant tonight. Soft shell crab was outstanding.

Though - corkage fee raised to $45 which I found obnoxious. Didn’t leave me with a good taste after a tremendous meal.
