I bought several cases of the '02 regular label, and a couple of cases of the Warhol. Opened one regular label last year, and wished I had waited. Way too young. Not popping another one until 2020. At the time, Costco was selling the Warhol for the same price as the regular label........ Hey Gene.....

Costco now sells 08 DP Lenny Kravits edition (same price as the regular bottling) Those hit Costcos here a few months ago. Bought a few cases from one location that had them priced the same as regular DP - $148.99 at the time. Haven’t seen any in stores recently, and regular DP pricing is now $155....

It’s not just cork. I had a 200ml bottle of Johnnie Walker Gold that was a gift with purchase of JW Blue. The JW Gold bottle fell on its side unbeknownst to me. I didn’t discover this until several years later, when it began to leak thru the screw top metal capsule.

It is hard to rail against somebody drinking a $20k bottle when my $100 bottle last night would be considered by most people a stupid waste of money. Anyone who drinks cheaper wine than I do is a peasant, and anyone who drinks more expensive wine than I do is a wastrel. Nice observation, Goldilocks!
