I'm in Southern California and have used a local Walgreens several times. No problems at all. Plus they receive their FedEx shipments earlier than residences do, so the wine is on the truck for a shorter time.

Heavier bottles are not necessary, just like wax capsules are not necessary. Neither makes the contents of the bottle any better and it just adds inconvenience and extra costs.

Tried the Cru with a 2016 Vincent Armstrong Vineyards Pinot Noir and that really showcased this excellent wine. The glass is so light and elegant, just perfect with the wine. It is going to be getting a lot of use.

I received the spring release offer from Arnot Roberts today and in it is the 2016 Montecillo Vineyard Cabernet, at $90. While $50 for Bedrock's 2017 version of the Cab is still expensive to me, given the quality of their wines it just pointed out how relatively reasonable Bedrock's pricing is.
