Re: TN: 2017 Marcel Lapierre Morgon N (France, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Morgon)

I have a fair amount of Lapierre Morgan, and a little of the Julienas. Some of the Morgon was imported by Kermit Lynch and was sold to me as Morgon N. Looking at the various bottles though I see no designation of the wine being labeled as the “N” version. So, are all Kermit Kynch Imported Morgan’s t...

Tim, Have you tasted any recent vintages of either Azienda Vitivinicola Il Colle or Vigna Spuntali? Both of them from the late 90’s thru 2006-2008 were on my list of favorites, and comparable in style to Scopetone. Haven’t seen much on them of late though, and am wondering how the ‘15 and ‘16 vintag...

Updated for pending sales. Spring shipping season is upon us, and I've got not room. Due to changing taste on my part, looking to move some of my CA wines. I will definitely second the recommendation for 2015 GD Vajra Bricco delle Viole. Beautiful wine now that I think will be great in the years to come.

Looking forward to the Produttori Crus, bu I have not tried any of them.

From what I could find, Breckenridge is a wine abyss. I hit every shop I could find, and found nothing of interest to me. Haven’t looked much in Denver, but there is a great shop inside “The Source” where the Crooked Stave tasting room is located. If you go, ask about the wines upstairs. Great shop ...

2017 Compagni Portis. I usually grab one or two bottles of this when it’s available. The 17 has a little bit of citrus and a much heavier floral presence on the nose than I remember from the last few vintages, but I don’t normally take notes. The wine is also a little bit richer than I remember, but...

I’ve had this wine handful of times in the last two or three years and agree. The first ones that I had were phenomenal. -The last six pack was ho-hum at best. Unfortunately I did not track the disgorgement dates.

I’ve got another six inbound and I’m hoping they outperform the last.
