Talk to Robert Panzer. He’s a board member and sells Ployez amongst others. It’s my house wine, we love it, we also stayed there for part of the honeymoon.

Re: Envoyer is crushing it with Champagne these days

Anyone had the Nathalie Falmet Brut? I bought a case of the NV Falmet last year. It was my house bubbly for holiday parties. Was great for the price, nothing overly special but good champagne. Would buy again but I like rotating house bubbles. The Val Coronet is great, I buy what I can find of that...

Did anyone else go in on the Gimmonet '08 Special Club mags the other day? The price is high, but their '08 is just brilliant, so I asked for 1. Haven't heard back yet. There are local wine shops all around that have decent selections, heck if you get in with HEB, they get a ton of rare stuff.

Anyone have a view on the 2012 Jean Milan Terres de Noel? Price is great, about the same as what they charged at the champagne house last year when I was there. The wine is their second best wine and is very good with a few years of age. Typical Oger Chardonnay, very pure, chalky, a hint of that Og...

Emma is worth a stop for sure. Not necessarily for the wine but the restoration and rebuild is amazing. It shows what can be done with nearly and unlimited budget. The bar makes some good drinks and has a fun vibe.

High Street for sure, you can bring a bottle there and enjoy it also so long as it's not on the menu. Based on my wife and I's experiences, pick up car at CDG. If you have an early flight arriving to CDG you can even make a 4pm champagne tasting if you're up for it. Michael, it’s a really good wine with food. If I remember correctly it’s bottled with less pressure in the bottle which does something to your taste buds. It feels a touch richer than most gimmonets, especially for being 100% chard. I bought some when I was over there and bought more today. The pric...
