2010 C-P with dinner. This wine is as good and fresh as when it was released. No personal experience but I am skeptical based on the oxygen exposure during decanting. Send him a 4-pack of Repour to try first. It’s worked great for me for a few days. And it’s qiker to use. That's probably a good call on the repour. Thought about Coravin at first but it's too pricey for the us...

Awesome note! Have always really liked this wine and still have a couple left (along with 2 of the II/direct to press). Did you get the feeling this could age for a while? If the 2012 carignan is anything like the 2011 (open, juicy, not at all what I would call highly structured), I wouldn't worry about popping one now. Five years later it’s still rockin’ solid. I had a ‘14 Nervo over the last two nights. Can’t say it was my favorite. Very rustic. Seemed much older than 5-6 years. The 13 Nervo is the only Bedrock wine i have not cared for.
