If you're in the Hamptons, Stone Creek Inn is the place to go. Corkage is $35. They offer a set menu all Thursday night $35 for 2 courses. On Friday it's offered at the first seating. I noticed a lot of restaurants are not consistent with their fees. I started recording my calls when getting quoted for fees so I don't get screwed over later. In all due respect this is so sad. Ayhan's F.i.s.h. on Main in Port Washington is $20. Nice Santorini white decor. Large portions. Spinach pie had a very flaky crust, soft tacos had plump grilled shrimp and house made salsa. Grilled halibut filet was pristine.

The Sea Grill, Rockefeller Center is $40. Very good service and food. And that view of the skating rink in winter. Very convenient to Radio City.

Smoked Barn, Levittown. Less than 10 tables. BYOB no charge. Bring glasses. Smoked brisket was tender and juicy. I think it's best to get there as early as possible so everything is just cooked.

Must be on the Chinese specials on the wall. Next time I'll ask the waiters what fish and seafood specials are posted. We ordered lobster Cantonese, and it actually was not the best quality. But still delicious.

Not for my table of 2. I was given water goblets and a plastic water pitcher with ice. But a few large tables were set with stems and chillers and gold napkins. Maybe need to reserve in advance. Tables did not seem to be for a party.

Wu's Wonton King. No charge corkage. Easier to park than at Peking Duck House (Mott St). And right next to "F" train stop on E. Broadway. We enjoyed the Centre Street Bistro enough to eat two out of three diners there. Black Eyed Susan's was more expensive, very loud and they force you to line up at 5:30 to reserve a table for 7:30 or 9:15 seatings.

Naples Street Food, Franklin Square, across from Frankly Thai. No charge to byo. Glasses are not stems, in keeping with the decor. Straw chairs, butcher block tables, Just seven tables. But usually wait is short. Pizza is authentico Napoli style.
