Wow, the snark comes fast and easy around here! The Press is a website intended to help the general population visiting wine country learn how to get the most out of their visit. I guess that's really not a good idea, though, since who needs to educate people about wine when you can just condescend...

Seriously, newark is really not bad in comparison to a lot of airports, particularly those in the tri-state area.
I agree. I have flown airports all the way down the East coast and a few on the West coast. Newark is one of my preferred airports to leave from. Not sure why the hate???

Talty for Zins. Definitely a leaner Zin. Tasting room open open on the weekends. Appointment otherwise.

Went to Charlottesville and Loudon counties 2-3 y ago to do wine tastings and visit historical sites. Generally found Virginia wines not up to the standards of our West coast states. Better wines were poor QPRs. Most memorable part of the trip was visiting presidential plantations around Charlottesv...

Blended at Conn Creek a few years ago. Tasted 12 cabs from 12 different regions then blended with the other Bx grapes. Great fun. Went to same tasting a few years ago (as described above) and it was so much fun that we went back in 2017. They changed the format. Couldn’t wait to get out of there. D...

Good- CA, WA, OR
Palatable- NY
Bad- VA, PA

Curious if any Berserkers belong to wine clubs in those states they consider “good wine” save for the three above.

Definitely a customer service issue. Doesn't even matter if owner believes that you bought this wine somewhere else. As long as he stocks this wine and you buy what you say you do ( and you don't return on a regular basis) the owner should replace without hesitation. Just good business.
