Law has good wine if you like the big bold style, but it's pricey. They have a beautiful modern winery with a great view so it's worth a visit. Thacher is a cool spot. They have an eclectic mix of wines that are mostly ~$30-50. They range from Zin blends, Bordeaux blends, and Pinots, to geekier stuf...

We have a bottle of 2014 Denner Bassetti Syrah. While it's on the opposite end of the spectrum from ESJ, hopefully it ages reasonably well.

The Ceritas ones are all good, but the Ceritas Zephyr vineyard is the best one out of all them, in my opinion. Has anyone had the '08 Casa Mate recently?

I bought a bottle from K&L earlier this year and I'm trying to figure out when to open it. I don't have a ton of experience with Barolo aside from Vietti Castiglione. Planning on having it with truffle risotto at one of our favorite Italian restaurants.

The Wine Makers is pretty entertaining. It's a few winemakers from Sonoma who have various guests on. The Bedrock guys were on one of the episodes.

I'll Drink to That is still the best in my opinion.

We visited Limerick Lane a few years back and tasted the 1910 Block Zinfandel in the 1910 block. Really cool experience and good sales tactic as we walked away with a couple bottles.

Had a '15 Drummond's Petite Sirah last night. Much more balanced and easy drinking than I was expecting, although it was pretty tannic. Will let the other bottle rest for several more years.

We went up there about a month ago, and were hosted by the owner's son. He showed us the old celler, and then had a sit down tasting of 2 chards, 2 pinots, and 2 cabs. They also had 2 friendly dogs that greeted us, which my wife loved. Overall great wines and visit. The road up there is pretty crazy...
