Re: Another Flannery PSA

Cooked 2 Rudds from the Berserker day offering yesterday, and they turned out just as good as I remember the regular strips, with what I think was a bit more flavor. Thawed from frozen, brought up to 120F on indirect heat, and finished off with 45 sec on each side in the Beefer. Probably would pull...

Many keep them open all day, some extend it a few days, as this is a LOT to work through, and sales can still come in pretty strong for a while Thanks, I must have been thinking about the auctions whic...

I purchased this last year and it has been great. Nice to have the lighter weight. Not yet as non-stick as my 15 year old cast-iron but getting better over time. http://www.stargazercastiron.com/ I have this one also. I put it through four seasonings before I even used it, and it’s very non-stick. ...

The sous vide Flannery picanha was delicious and very tender. Seasoned with a bunch of kosher salt, a little black pepper and some dried New Mexico red chili pepper for about 4 hours then into the sous vide at 131 degrees for 4.5 hours. At that point the meat was pink and rare, a thin slice sample ...

When I was young, I worked at a local chain called The Drumstick. The chicken was outstanding, it had a thin crust which I prefer (flour, dip in milk, flour again, then into the fryer). They’re long gone, but luckily one of their employees started a copycat way back in the 60s called the Wishbone. E...
