VinGo Shipping -- Experiences?

A wine retailer in NYC is using VinGo as their shipping carrier to Texas. The retailer claims the wine stays refrigerated the entire 7-9 day route. I've had other wine sellers tell me this about LSO, but LSO has delivered hot wine to me numerous times, so I will no longer use them. Would anyone here...

What is your favorite Major wine region

The three regions most heavily represented in my “cellar” - easily 90% of what I own - are Bordeaux, Loire and Northern Rhône. Would be easy for me to say Bordeaux, I have the deepest history with this region, but in truth, I have a greater affinity for old school French Syrah. Kindred spirits we are

Gentlemen: Thanks for the great recommendations in this timely thread. This reminds me of the time I was in a high-end wine store making a fairly large purchase. Conflicted about brett

I tend to be really attracted to wine that many would describe as being faulted by brett. Savory, meaty, gamey, leathery, funky, barnyard, etc. When I find these characteristics in wine, I almost always consider it a bonus! Whereas most other wine drinkers I know are turned off and consider it a fau...

I've had an unquenchable thirst for wine that most would describe as savory or meaty for the past couple of years. Been drinking a lot of aged bdx and rioja. I'm looking for suggestions for specific wines that you've recently had that really stood out as meaty or savory.

Now that the weather is cooperating, I've got some 80's bordeaux being shipped that I intend to drink over the next 3-4 months.
