Envoyer has never offered the best pricing for big house Champagne, so why purchase knowing there will be better prices from other places? And it’s pre-arrival, too, not like you’ll get them any sooner.

From most CT scores, I'd estimate 89-90 points is typically given to one's C+ to B- wines. Weird, but giving 84 after all that is definitely pretty funny.

I like them all. I am not starting out with sake now but it has been a very long time since I drank sake so I have no idea whats out there anymore. I dont like things like plum wines though. Okay, if you have zero preferences, I guess starting with breweries is as good as anything. [rofl.gif] Beast

Favorite of mine was the 2014 Aurelien Verdet Gevrey-Chambertin. Got it for just $30 a year ago (K&L Wines clearance). Only see it for ~$50 these days :(

I've never understood drinking young Dom Perignon. To me, it is just way too reductive for the handful of years after the release.
