MAXEM is a new project from Sam and Nancy Kaplan. Sam makes the wine for Arkenstone, Vangone, and Memento Mori. He also used to make Nine Suns up until 2017 vintage. The grapes are sourced from Sonoma (UV Vineyard, I believe). I had these wines back in April and they were delicious. I will be in fo...

http://www.grievewinery.com/ very good wine, classic looking label, definite grapefruit flavor with minerality and flowers https://www.realmcellars.com/pages/wine-fidelio.html beautiful label, reminiscent of Klimt +1 on Fidelio, I would also add Arkenstone and the Melka SB to the list of great SB's.

There are a lot more producers in the Nuits, it's a fairly large area. You should do some more exploring.

Gouges is another top tier producer you should investigate.

There are many, many others.

Based on previous years (on Cellartracker): 2015 - 96.9 2014 - 97.9 2013 - 97.9 2012 - 96 I think I can safely say you and anyone getting their first allocation is good to go. No CT notes on 2016 and 2017. Thanks, I'm sure they will score high given the vintage and history.
