I think the steal of that list is the 2007 DRC La Tache for $2.2K.
Yes it's $2K which is silly expensive.. but that's a good price for that bottle... quality guaranteed basically.

hope he drinks quick....the one downside of tree house, and probably it's only one, is that a lot of the DIPAs do not age well at all. Agree. Ideally with in 2 weeks. I'd say if the OP wants to visit the Washington Wine REGION.. Walla walla has got much more of the wine region vibe.
Woodinville is awesome but it's warehouses, and tasting rooms in warehouses.. it's like you can get a dentist visit, hit some golf balls at the driving range, and also taste some wine.

I apply those terms in the same way Chris just described.

Primary - young fresh fruit
Secondary - integration has happened (tannins. Oak. Fruit)
Tiertiary - full integration. Old funky sh!t happening.

Was on a Virgin Galactic rocket orbiting earth with Richard Branson and Alex last week. Can confirm the 16s were excellent and that flying/altitude really doesn’t impact a wines taste.
