Haven't bought or been on the site in quite some time but no longer a buyer. I was hitting too many duds after trying them after time in the cellar. The bottles all looked fine. No signs of damage but many were dull and not representative of the same wines purchased from the Winery or retail. Same....

2017’s in the same league as 2016’s? I rather doubt it! And why was fruit still hanging when the fires 🔥 erupted? Any fruit that was still on the vine wouldn't have been used to make wine. I've tasted multiple 17 Napa cabs now and there's no smoke taint. A couple wineries have said no 17' vintages ...

I think Morgan has addressed this in the past - given the price point of a lot his wines, it helps to have a nice big bottle for market perception. It's an unfortunate reality that you have to deal with - I've heard other winemarkers say the same thing with respect to screw caps - can't sell a $50 ...
