Great QPR as far as I’m concerned. Somehow this crazy blends always works for us. Goes well with food or by itself on a Sunday afternoon. Been with the brothers B since the 06 Core and have always found the entire family warm and personable. Gracious hosts as well. Tampa is Buoncristiani country.

Usually go for 6, never less than 3. With 3 it’s try 1 fairly soon and have at least 2 to cellar. How we at this stage rarely adding something totally new to the mix. So worst case is I have something eh from someone I know, like and trust.

Great great wine, those slightly oder Cayuse. A little age brings out the best. IMO an hour or so is all you should need to for this to really sing. Enjoy!

Very positive experience with them, especially Roland over many years. Had one small hiccup, some bad Brunello. They made me whole with a credi, no questions asked and didn't even want the remaining bottles back.

Great itinerary. I'm sure everyone will have an opinion, I really like what you've put together. Personal all-time absolute favorite Napa tasting is Joseph Phelps. No one in Napa or just about anywhere other than some personal friends can do a tasting like Joseph Phelps in a corporate kind of way.

2001 Altesino Montosoli, went heavy based on the hype from Wine Spectator. In the beginning so dry and tannic I though they had to get better. And a few did over time. As for the remaining dozen or do, at least 2/3 corked, simply awful and undrinkable. Just 1 left.
