Junebaby is excellent... everything I've had there is great, but I particularly recommend the fried pig's ears (starter). I haven't been since they've gotten all of the press, but do usually see a short line outside whenever I drive by. I've heard the strategy is to go early, and grab a cocktail at ...

Not sure what I am doing wrong here with my Caipirinha recipe. Keeps being too strong and sour? Could it be the Cachaca brand or am I missing a step? Had a really good one for lunch yesterday at a Latin restaurant but for $9 a glass for such a simple cocktail was nuts IMHO. Old fashioned glass Half...

Sadly, Spur closed early last year. I really enjoyed how they did cocktail pairings with their tasting menu.

I'd add a handful of others in Ballard, especially Sexton. For tiki, I prefer Hotel Albatross to Navy Strength.

No, that doesn't make it a 26 yr old Lagavulin... the age you see on the bottle is referring to aging in barrels. The general belief is that whisky does not change much if it is in the bottle and unopened. However, there seems to be quite a bit of debate regarding whether small changes (oxidation, e...
