Re: Santa Barbara/Buellton/Solvang area wineries to visit

Just booked first trip to SB in October. Have always been a fan of Arcadian and given the press up-thread, I thought I'd explore a visit but their website appears to be down. Anyone know if they are still operational? We booked Hotel Californian and I've made a dinner reservation at Bouchon. Debati...

Anyone a fan of the 15` Kirkland Barolo from Langhe- $20? I read a few comments from March above, but seems a couple of folks are not liking it. Copper River season

Saw my first batch today at local higher end grocer - $60/lb. Seems steep from memory, but also recall previous years when folks on here mentioned finding it at their local Costco. Anyone seen it there yet this season? Price?

Vitamix Alternatives?

My 10+ year old blender finally crapped out. Want to get something that can easily make smoothies and occasionally pulverize nuts, etc.

Vitamix gets a ton of love but not crazy about $4-600 for a blender. Any specific alternative models to consider instead?

Headed to Maui in a couple weeks with the family (kids are 6 and 8). Road to Hana is on the agenda, but curious what the can’t-miss stops are on the route. Don’t think we will keep the kids’ attention long enough to hit all the spots, so looking for a few to prioritize into the day.

Thanks
