I like my vinguard valise. Same. A full case of 750ml non-champagne bottles comes to about 47-48 lbs with the VGV. WineSearcher has an app; you can check prices before you visit a winery. Very few Napa wines are significantly cheaper at the winery/mailing list than at retail. Many of those wineries have already been named in this thread.

I think Bouchard does that every so often with that stash of super old Meursault they have. They simply sacrifice one of the bottles to top the remaining ones rather than topping with a new vintage.
At least that is what we were told on a tour years ago.

They all eventually do that. I’m guessing physics plays into it. These glasses have a relatively long stem compared to total height.
