Re: 2015 Bedrock - Syrah Weill a Way Vineyard w/a Kombucha-like blob in bottle.

Drank a bottle last night. Very nice. Lots of sediment in addition to what appeared to be a culture-like blob floating at the bottom, almost like what you would expect to find in a kombucha, like a small piece of phlegm . Has anyone ever experienced such a situation with a bottle of wine?? I think ...

This monster hurricane looming over my shoulder down here in Florida is precisely why 95% of my stuff is in protected, off-site storage. I will lose power the minutes winds crest 75 mph. We lost power for 9-10 days due to Hurricane Charlie. And boy would I love to have a walk-in at my house. I even...

Lucas is an excellent winery in Lodi, both in terms of the quality of wines (primarily zin and chardonnay) and the winery visit experience. It's a lovely place, with extremely nice people (who were very accomodating to our young kids as well). It's just a few miles off I-5 and easy to find. http://...

Re: wireless tags. Do you just connect it to your home WiFi and it's good to go or is it more complex than that? Takes about 5 minutes to setup - super easy! Hmmm- how easy? My WiFi signal in the basement is not strong due to distance, concrete walls, etc. Do you do a manual connection to the router?

My first trip to Prague was in June of 1970 as a student. Times remained tense, even two years after the Soviets crushed the Prague Spring reform movement in 1968. We met with interested students over beers at a tavern, know as U Fleku. It has survived, grown and prospered, yet retaining some of the...
