Uncorked another bottle tonight as the sun came out during an otherwise dreary PNW Spring. Tangerines & strawberries now, not particularly acidic, tannic or oxidative. Tried to get the color right.

Just found one of these and uncorked it, continues a string of great domestic 07 PN including Lynmar Jenkins and W-S RRV. This was all deep plum and delicious.

They made a lovely Chardonnay a few years ago from Yeun or Yuen, like domestic Premier Cru Chablis. Vintage was 09 or 12 I think.

Picturesque Vallejo adjacent. Maybe I can get Stop The Bleed Kits in the tasting rooms for the inevitable GSWs.

SF lunch for 50 or so, near the Moscone Center

ACS Clinical Congress returns to SF in Oct and we are trying to set up a lunch gathering for the combined chapters of Washington & Oregon on Tuesday Oct, 29. It will be a strictly social affair, by that I mean purely political. I need a place where 25-50, or more, could gather; walking distance from...

We had the 10 Stockholm Syndrome Syrah last Sept during my wife’s 50th. It was very good and I can’t imagine any reasonable preparation that would influence this wine at all, positively or negatively.

Might be a different story this time next decade.
