Thanks for the comments, Claus. I bought about 2 cases total of the 2014s, with some of it arriving last week and now in my cellar. I'm going to start trying the 2014 range over the next few weeks and see how they are showing.

Are there scores for Kirkland, Layer Cake, and Toad Hollow? I'd be eager to see those reviews. I see this as Joe does. If you're gonna list wineries like the aforementioned, then why not fill in the picture with wineries who are investing in this varietal. Was Kutch mentioned? What about Rivers-Marie?

I saw the offer, too.

I bought my 2008s at Costco, and at $250 a pop when tax is folded in, I'm not rushing now to blow up my budget on doing these 2012s pre-arrival. I'm going to wait for Costco to offer them down the road.

Finishing up the Eloquence tonight, it's been open since Wednesday so it's become still. The wine really shows the top class quality. Pear, green apple, citrus, a honeyed edge and the finish of stone/slate.......so good. Love Marie-Courtin. For sure my Champagne of the year.

Claus, help me. Why did you post the Dethune BdB in context of the Crayeres? Just curious. Is the Dethune source for their BdB inside of or near Crayeres?

FWIW, the Marguet Crayeres is money. The bottle I had of the 2012 a few months ago was excellent.
