The MP QPR king! 14 is fire...although I don’t detect the oak that you did in 10. In fact...I am drinking the 17 Jadot right now, and was thinking more oak spice in Jadot MP than Bouchard MP IMO. Both killer WB for the money!

HA...I've actually have had 7 bottles of the 13 AV in the last couple years(got a screaming deal, as well as the 12 Napa) and all have been totally acceptable "Silver Oak" style bottles. Not as great as they were in the 80/90's...but still has that classic SO American oak spice with velvet...

Brian, my experience with Guiberteau has been that it's very light compared to other Loire CFs. Was that your impression as well? Other than that extreme funk! Not much experience in that area for me. I have had some Clos Rougeard, and with the Guiberteau, found them bright fruited with Pinot-like ...
