It is the brain child of a couple of guys from San Francisco. They just sold their bar Cantina to focus exclusively on Encanto. It is really delicious stuff and has recently won a lot of awards. I drink it regularly.

We stopped at a gas station / liquor store last month and they had THIRTY CASES of Pappy. Everything from the 10 year to the 23 including the Rye. Bought a bottle and rolled back through 3 days later and it was all sold.
