Post your CELLAR PIC time…..

A rendering of a wine cellar that I had designed but choked on the price. Mag storage against the glass. Also, if you are enjoying this thread then you will enjoy the book: Living With Wine by Samantha Nestor, photographs by Andrew French. This is a coffee table quality wine cellar picture book with...

Washington DC

Organized a wine dinner in one of the private rooms at Cap Grille in Chevy Chase ~ Maryland side. The food was to be expected for CG and the service and glassware and overall delivery of customer service was outstanding. They rolled out the red carpet and I would highly recommend. A good location if...

Re: Washington, D.C. Kapcsandy Dinner

Matt, we have a few great restaurants that are very accommodating with us on private rooms and waiving corkage. Great food and great service. We will put you down as interested. Do you live in the D.C. area?

Re: Grand Cru Burgs in Northern Virginia - Now August 18!

Another idea but also Metro challenged but maybe cabs would work for everyone- the new place called “Michelle’s” in the Tysons Corner Ritz hotel. The chef is Michelle Richard ( 3 star Michelin chef ) who owns Citronelle and Central in DC. The theme is upscale / modern bistro and the food is great. T...

Re: Northern Virginia

Not sure what their official policy is on corkage (don't think they have one) but you owe it to yourself to get out to Mark's Duck House in Falls Church on a Sunday afternoon in the fall. Place was put on the map by that one wine critic; forget his name, but many wine drinkers love the food, atmosph...

Re: Grand Cru Burgs in Northern Virginia - Now August 18!

2941 is always very good but it's not near Metro. GBarkley, if there is any interest, I could call them to see if they would have a group wine dinner / waive corkage etc. Just let me know.

Re: Grand Cru Burgs in Northern Virginia - TBD

Scott, Likewise. I could also bring RJ who you met at the SQN dinner. Don't want to impose so I'll take the lead from the group on open spots.
