In Bucharest for high end I would say The Artist and for the traditional experience go to Caru Cu Bere.

Also be aware that Romania has only 35% vaccination rate. And I doubt that Hungary's rate is much higher.

Tracker is favorable on the wine and better average than vintages before and after.
That is why I picked that particular vintage. Never had the wine, myself.

In San Diego, Addison got their 2nd Michelin star. The first one was given to them 2 years ago and that was low balling them.

Jeune et Jolie got 1 star and two sushi places also got 1 star.

John, all I can say is that this sparkler ranks out there with the likes of Roederer Anderson Valley and Gloria Ferrer Royal Cuvee. I will also add Heritage Auctions. Sent them a list of wines, they sent me back a low/average/high estimate. After the sale, they were within a few dollars of the average. I was very happy.

Many thanks to all for your advice. Ulitimately the one thing that got me through is that none of you were scared like me, so maybe I had too much fear. I ended up twisiting with pliers, breaking the top of the cork then just inserting an electric corckscrew and up.

Bought 4 bottles of the GoT Lagavulin for $25 and I have to say that it is the best bargain for Scotch drinkers who like smokey, peaty ones. Poured one GoT and one regular 16 year old, and I cannot tell the difference. So, go for it, if not for you, for a nice inexpensive gift.
