Apples and oranges, folks.... Or are you saying that all syrahs are alike? Certainly not! This offer has about 2% more ABV than the Qupe one. Just comparing the price point and perceived value of the deal, that's all. However, I can imagine that both offers will appeal to different sets of people.

They've already sold through about 300 cases on the offer and it's not sold out yet. Only 600 cases made. Seems like they might be selling damn near the entire production.

Right, I think the 2011 Hillside Syrah was dumped for around $17 on WTSO back in the spring. Still, $8 all-in is crazy pricing. They must be in full-on firesale mode now.

Wow, that's a HUGE error in the offer text. Probably a lot of people passed on N.20 because of the ABV. Somebody who knows how to search COLA, can you check the listed ABV for OG N.20?

Which of the recent releases do folks recommend picking up? Looking for a mix of whites and reds, some to enjoy now and some to hold on to for a while. I've never tried any Goodfellow wines, but from what I've read of other people's tasting notes, it seems like it would be right up my alley.

Yeah, the more confected product will tend to win any head to head matchup. I don't think it really tells us anything about quality. People want their wine to be like alcoholic Coca Cola, that's not particularly surprising.
