I make dressing almost everyday. I have some fancier recipes I like, but mostly I do dijon, best quality olive oil, red wine vinegar (or other), salt, and maybe whatever herbs are in the house. Or not. Sometimes garlic or shallot. Honestly, getting fancy isn't necessary to me if I have good greens....

Picked up a bottle of 2015 Canonica a Cerreto Chianti Classico Riserva for $19.99 at the Boca Costco. Opened and drank tonight and will be going back to buy in bulk. Fantastic QPR. Got better with each glass. Highly recommend trying!

I've received all my orders from WDC but nothing has posted to RMN yet. I have had mixed experience in the past but usually when the wine ships right away, the credits are posted quickly. I always set a calendar reminder to follow up 45 days after I order.

I just got the Amex (plat) $10 back on $50 at WDC too. Previously, I had gotten this same offer a few times when I first got stewardship in 2020, but then no WDC offers for a long time. Also, the last time I got it, I was able to use it 3 times, but this one is single use.

Opened a 2014 Scherrer Winery Zinfandel Old and Mature Vines this weekend - very difficult to describe the flavor profile but it is elegant and silky leaning toward red fruit. I don't think that I would guess zinfandel if tasting blind!

After having a gas cooktop my whole life, I moved to an area that does not have natural gas so I got induction. I love it. Have never had any noise issues, and I get a great sear on cast iron.
