btw, I'll add that we went this route ourselves in 2015 when we visited Chateauneuf du Pape. Flew into Paris and stayed two nights then the TGV to Provence and the rental car throughout the area then the TGV back to Paris for one final night before flying home.

There is a TGV between Aix-en-Provence and Paris Gare de Lyon if that helps any. There are rental car companies at Aix-en-Provence you can pickup and drop off literally across from the tracks.

We have one here in Arlington, TX. I wouldn't go so far as to say best I've had in the U.S. in the past 10 years but it is really good. We like it. A lot. Doesn't seem like yours is a fluke. btw, ours is BBQ too.

My guess and purely a guess is it's simply an every other one must be in person to update the photo. That would roughly tie it to the length of a password renewal as well (5 years x 2 versus 10).

My annual convention trip to Las Vegas scheduled for next Tuesday through Friday being held at the Aria this year was just now cancelled. Now the mad dash to cancel the hotel room, airfare, etc... I'm betting they keep the convention fee to offset costs.

I'm betting you're an easy, quick walk from the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Betsy Ross House, etc... All in a pretty tight cluster roughly 6-10 blocks from where you're staying is my guess.

Concerning dining there bear in mind that Ezcaray by Francis Paniego just switched over the entire menu to their new summer menu about a week and a half ago. Heavy focus on summer fare so to speak.

If you have a car waiting on you curbside and posted speeds highways the entire route. Not sure that qualifies as "within a reasonable cab ride from DFW airport". If it is then we've just opened a ton of new possibilities including Fearings he mentioned which is closer than Gemma btw.

That's a tough one. Trying to come close to Fearings within a cab ride of the airport. I'd lean towards the steakhouses: Bob's Steak & Chop House (my preference) in Grapevine or Old Hickory Steakhouse inside the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine. You could just stay at the airport and catch the DFW Sky...
