Let me throw my two cents worth in here since we seem to have a failure to launch. When I started a tasting group well north of a decade ago I came to the conclusion it was best to meet frequently, just set a date and whoever can come, comes. No matter what date I set some will make it, some will no...

Is a renewal appointment now required? When I renewed three years ago, I did so online.
When I renewed it looked like another interview would be required based on what the page says, however I was never asked to schedule one. I just renewed everything, hit SEND, and waited 3 months.

Oct 19th definitely knocks me out. I'll be in Wisconsin for a hedonistic wine weekend with others that weekend. Nov 9th is currently open for me but do NOT move it just for me (not that I'm that important anyway). I've got a couple of client visits coming up soon that could easily land on that date ...

If your tour is 3-4 weeks you can certainly expand it beyond just TX, unless you just really like cow. You could, for example, fly into KC, hit a few spots there (at least Joe's, but plenty of others to consider), drive to STL, hit Pappy's and, again, plenty of others if you want to take the time (...

If you have a car waiting on you curbside and posted speeds highways the entire route. Not sure that qualifies as "within a reasonable cab ride from DFW airport". If it is then we've just opened a ton of new possibilities including Fearings he mentioned which is closer than Gemma btw.

Don't know where you're getting your intel on American dining habits but most of the multicourse meals I've had for years had the cheese course at the end. Only exception would be an appetizer that contains cheese.

You might want to chastise Italians for antipasto plates while you're at it.
