Concerning dining there bear in mind that Ezcaray by Francis Paniego just switched over the entire menu to their new summer menu about a week and a half ago. Heavy focus on summer fare so to speak.

Roughly 650 Euro a night right now. Around 35,000-50,000 points per night IF you can get a redemption right now. During current high season I see no redemption nights. That doesn't sound right, it's a straight 60k points for category 7, they (Marriott) haven't introduced hi/low season points pricin...

Re: Great restaurants near DFW

If you have a car waiting on you curbside and posted speeds highways the entire route. Not sure that qualifies as "within a reasonable cab ride from DFW airport". If it is then we've just opened a ton of new possibilities including Fearings he mentioned which is closer than Gemma btw.

That's a tough one. Trying to come close to Fearings within a cab ride of the airport. I'd lean towards the steakhouses: Bob's Steak & Chop House (my preference) in Grapevine or Old Hickory Steakhouse inside the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine. You could just stay at the airport and catch the DFW Skylink...

Don't know where you're getting your intel on American dining habits but most of the multicourse meals I've had for years had the cheese course at the end. Only exception would be an appetizer that contains cheese.

You might want to chastise Italians for antipasto plates while you're at it.
