Just finished hosting a 3-day conference for 165 people. Was tons of work over the last several months but it paid off, as it was a big success. Opened a 2012 EMH Special Selection to celebrate. As expected, very nice!

For my palate, I prefer Napa. But, I’m open to finding good Bordeaux values, especially under $50, where Napa does struggle more. Suggestions most definitely welcome.

Hey Randy - How long has Christopher been winemaker at Cliff Lede? I’ve always found their reds to be decent but never much more than that. I’d be interested in revisiting them to see if/how they’ve improved under his hand.

Haven’t had the ‘11 Monte Rosso, but I’m feeling that way about the ‘11 Papera. I think it’s just starting to get too soft and should be drunk up.
