Seems like the weather for one so popped a 2014 Goose Island Bourbon County stout. Mellowing out and really hits the spot on a dank day.

I've had the 91' on more than a few occasions and it's a really solid wine, probably one of Patrick's best efforts. The prices have edged up over the last couple of years as more people have realized how good they can be for a relative pittance by todays standards.

I've been becoming less enthusiastic with Wine bid over the last year for a variety of reasons but, living on the East coast, this is probably the last straw. I recently got 3 cases I had in storage there and only have one bottle left there. I may just have it shipped and be done with them.

For me it's a 97' Dominus that I paid $67 for and a 1997 Shafer HS for the astronomical amount of $167. I've held them so long it will be with mixed feelings when I eventually pop the corks.
