Biryani

Ingredients

800-1000g lamb shoulder, cut in pieces 

1 big onion, thinly sliced


1 bunch coriander, chopped

1 little piece ginger, chopped

3 tomatoes, cubed

2-3 cloves garlic, chopped

2-3 red chillis, chopped

3 tbsp Biryani spice mix

100g plain yoghurt

water

 

Preparation

1.Heat 2 tbsp oil, cook onions until dark brown. Set aside.

 

2. Add more oil and sauté lamb pieces until browned.

 

3.  Sprinkle with Biryani spice mix and cook for 2-3min

4.  Cover with water

5. Finally add ginger, garlic, chillis and tomatoes. Add lidd. Put in the pre-heated oven for 60-70min by 180C

6. After 60-70min remove  it from the oven and add yoghurt, chopped coriander and onions. Let it cook for 10-15min on low to medium heat without lid .

7. Serve with Basmati rice. ENJOY
