Roasted Brussels sprouts with Honey

Ingredients

750g-1000g brussels sprouts, cleaned and halved

60g honey

60ml olive oil

1 organic lemon, peel only

80ml Sherry/Red wine/White Balsamico vinegar

1 tsp chilli flakes

1/2 tsp salt

3 tbsp butter

 

Preparation

1.Pre-heat the oven to 230C/450F.  Put the Brussels sprouts to an oven-proven form or baking tray, put surface downside and  add olive oil and salt. Put in the oven for around 20min

 

2. Heat the honey on very low heat for 3-4min

 

3. Remove from the heat and add vinegar&chilli flakes

 

4. Bring back to the low heat and add butter&salt. Let it thicken a little bit

 

5.  Put the roasted Brussels sprouts in a bowl

 

6. Add the butter&honey sauce and combine

 

7. Add lemon peel and combine

 

8. ENJOY
