Cinnamon Lamb

Ingredients
1kg lamb (leg or shoulder)
2 red onions
2 clove of garlic
4-5 tbsp olive oil
1 cinnamon stick (optional 1 1/2 stick)
1-2tbsp allspice
2 bay leaves
800g canned tomatoes
750ml beef/veggie broth or water
300g greek Kritharaki Pasta
parmesan

Preparation

1. Cut the lamb meat in cubes

2. Sauté the meat in 2-3 tbsp olive oil for a few minutes. Add salt&pepper. Remove the meat and set aside.

3. Add more olive oil. Then cook chopped onions and add crushed allspice, cinnamon, garlic and bay leaves a few minutes.

4. Add tomatoes

5. Also add broth and let it cook for 2-3min on high heat

6. Add meat and put it for 60min in the pre-heated oven by 200C/400F with lid

7. After 60min. add the greek Kritharaki pasta. You could mince the meat with a fork a little bit. Back in the oven for another 15-20min.

8. You could also add more broth or water if necessary

9. Serve it with a touch of olive olive and parmesan. ENJOY
