1995 Rene Rostaing Côte-Rôtie La Landonne - France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, Côte-Rôtie (10/23/2009) Consumed over 3 hours. Some bacon fat, black pepper and leather and tobacco on the nose. Follows through on the palate with black cherry fruit, earth, pepper and plenty of tannin left. Medium-long finish with nice acidity which gained weight over the course of the evening. Still has plenty of life in front of it, but not sure that it will improve much from here. Great with the pork tenderloin. (92 pts.)

Thanks, Larry, very nice note and quite helpful. I have a solo bottle that I have been wondering about. It is good to know it can be enjoyed now or held without concern for a while. Gives me a lot of options!
