If they would just ship that PTE East could help them get rid of back stock… But I am guessing has more to do with new brewery equipment they put in and trying to get back up to speed. I hope that is the case and all this PTE talk has me thirsting for one again been to long.

nah, it’s been an issue for the last few months, even before the new equipment was in. The stores/distribution are getting newer stock of beer. For example, my friend went on the 26th to and received beer from the first week of March. I went to my local liquor store the same week and received 3/19/2015 beers.

Same thing happened in December to me when I had beer from them. It was nearly 3 weeks old.

people buy cases blindly so I guess they don’t care

the beers are great, but literally fall apart in a week. it’s crazy. so drink asap.

For the IPAs yes, this is sadly true (well, more like two or three weeks). They are revamping their production center in Sonoma and the Plinys have been coming from Firestone Walker in the central coast via a temporary contract. Thus, Pliny shows up at Whole Foods already well past its prime (e.g. my local WF received their weekly delivery yesterday, bottle dated 3/23). The atrocity!!!
