I’d break the drive up from rome to Tuscany with 2 stops:

Orvieto - duomo is second only to Florence’s.
Civita di bargnoregio - please, please, please, don’t look at pictures beforehand on line. Just trust me and go there to visit the citadel. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

One word of advice, hire a car with snow tires as there’s a strong chance of snow given how mountainous everywhere in Italy is.

Presumably you’re only going to Modena to see the Ferrari museum?! There’s a nice restaurant 5 mins walk from the museum that is owned/operated by Ferrari that I’d recommend.

I enjoyed Lucca, but don’t have any solid recs there. If you decide on Cinque Terre, make sure you have a backup plan in case tourists make you claustrophobic.
