I was there a few weeks ago. I told Kurt I was thinking about either the Rougeard or the PYCM. Kurt said don’t get red, doesn’t go with the food, and he could do much better than the PYCM…he strongly recommended the Morey Coffinet St Romain 2013. It was good.
“Lahore Violane” sounds like something that Sean connery from SNL’s Celebrity jeopardy would definitely order off a menu.
How is the list really ordered? On the surface other than the top level category it’s fairly random. Not alphabetical. Not in order of price. Not in order of sub-region. Though the Oregon’s are largely grouped together. But then more from France follow.
Bruno Clair Savigny Les Beaune Dominode 1996
Burlotto Barolo Monvigliero 2011
Pierre Yves Colin Morey St Aubin Em Remilly 2014
Interesting list. I’ll have to check this place out the next time I’m down in Portland.
For my money, I’d go for the 2009 Chave Hermitage Farconnet and the 2012 Ostertag Heissenberg Riesling.
I do like this Chave bottling. If you like it you sit back and say ‘Farconnet’.
Will be there in 2 weeks and almost everything on the list is a good buy.

presumably by acquisition date
Not too far off this ^ I’d bet.
And then there’s the “more selections available upon request” part…
