I just opened one of these. Appears there may have been a small leak as the capsule was stuck to the bottle and there was a stain running down the side of the cork. The wine was fine and matched the note to a T. One of my favorite Black Cats so far.
Well, I’m late on this but last night we had a 1992 Dalla Valle Cab to celebrate my daughter’s 22nd birthday. It was very nice with a somewhat Graves-like tobacco aroma and a bit of green pepper, hanging on to its fruit, and still carrying a fair amount of tannin. I wouldn’t call it a great wine but it was cool to dig it out of the cellar after all those years - she was 2 when I bought it. I located the 1992 Dominus too
