Doing grilled chicken kabobs with bell peppers, red onions and potatoes. Thoughts?
To answer my own question, not a great pairing. Overall, the wine turned grapey. Should have stuck with a Rose.
We finally popped one of these the other night and Buzz’s note was spot on for us. Didn’t notice the sulfur that the other Brian did. Really enjoyable wine now but for my tastes there’s many years of enjoyment in this; best to give time for the woody notes to further integrate.
