PNP’d the 2012 Glenelly Estate Cabernet Sauvignon tonight.
I didn’t get any strong reduction on the nose. Maybe a tad of funk but barely noticeable. Will see if other bottles vary but this one is drinking well on PNP.
Med concentration on the color. Its not thick ink black in concentration. I get herbs, leather, earthy funk, and acidity. Herbs, tobacco, dark fruit, and earth which leads to great acidity and tannins with a long finish. Its darn good out of the bottle. Lets see how it evolves…
Its got some resemblence to a personal favorite the 2010 McCarthy Estate Cab which cost more than 3x the price.
