We will be in St Remy in a couple weeks and would like more detail on the deli you mention below-approx. how many K E of St Remy is it? Is it past the big iris garden place on D 99?

Mark - it’s called “Pasta Nostra”, with a sign that says “Epicerie Fine Italienne” above the door. It’s at number 13, 99A – just about 50 feet East of the main ring road that circles central St. Remy. So yes, Italian/French deli. .

We had a fun time. Loved the morning markets. I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed hanging out at pont du gard. Just hung out, dipped into the ice cold water. Good times. St remy was well located, plenty of restaurants to eat at.

One odd thing, is Provence the Palm Springs of France? The average age at restaurants was about 60+. I just thought it was interesting to see the age demographic skew so much to one side.

We did a Backroads trip in Provence last August/Early September. It was fabulous. The hotels were absolutely beautiful and the highlight of the trip was my son and my husband biking up to the top of Mont Ventoux. A bucket list item for the two of them for sure. You’ll love this trip!
