My first rose: To MLF or not to MLF

Best advice to anybody in wine, don’t even start if your heart isn’t in it. It will show.

My second “rose”. More like radioactive liquid granite with a hint of red flowers. I think it had been finished fermentation 24 hours or so before I realized so I guess the color might be oxidized but it doesn’t have any tell tale aromas or flavors of such. This is Primitivo grown on crushed granite at 3200 feet elevation. Picked at 20 brix.

I think Ill be keeping this one for myself.
