My kids informed me tonight that this feature is good on ALL Amex cards. And I thought I was special!

They booked 4 tickets to Hawaii thru Amex travel, used 60,000 points (ticket cost Delta - $600) and gal on phone said they will get 30,000 point refund on each ticket. They have the green corporate card.

I suspect they got lucky. It is supposed to be true for the Amex Business Platinum.

Did the refund actually occur?

I guess the refund takes 6 weeks or so after you book so who knows. I was reading through the verbage on their site and it appears that it might be the case, kind of hard to decipher.

Im with Todd on this one, a nice perk on domestic travel with those of us without status.

If they don’t have a plat Amex business card, they won’t get the rebate. can be charged on another AMEX card but the rebate only happens if you also have the platinum business card. The platinum personal card alone even won’t do it.
