I have no MI wine.
Ok by me if its not a MI tasting.
OK updated post with attendees; ping me if I missed anyone or +1s
As to wine, I can bring a 93 or 96 Moulin Touchais and then I have been lovingly looking through my dwindling stock of Swiss stuff…summer vacation is calling me to Valais and Piemonte.
On the white side can bring a bottle of Ermitage (Marsanne) and the red? How about a Grain Gamay from M-T Chappaz?
I think Joel is attending and needs to be on that list too.
I’ll attend if there is space. Thanks.
Hey I hear they do a mean Fish and Chips
Does it match well with Caymus Cabernet?
BYO salad?
Inside joke that I guess Dan doesn’t remember giving me grief for
Silly wabbit, everyone knows that Caymus can only be drunk in months with an “R”.
Uh dude, that’s why I posted that…
Hey I’m dense…still dense.
you could use a salad!
Cole Slaw - that’s the ticket
I can’t even follow who is going where, drinking what, and with whom. So you are one up on me, Ed. All I know is that with my distance, I can’t do any of these.
Guys, need to bow out of this one, suddenly got some crazy deadline for end of Feb.
What are people bringing?
Caymus 40th Anniversary Loire Cabernet Franc
For a starter, I’m undecided between 2009 Montlouis “Mineral +”, Frantz Saumon or 2013 “La Roue qui Tourne Rose”, Marie Thibault (Pet-Nat sparkler, dry, 100% Gamay)
2002 Chinon, Dom. Les Roches for the red
I’m thinking 1995 Joguet Chene Vert and 1996 Ch. Soucherie Coteaux du Layon VV.
I have two bottles to compare side by side: 2010 Chidaine Montlouis Les Bournais, “regular” and Franc de Pied.
I have very little Loire.
I could bring a Petillant bubbly or Burgundy red or something else.
