Europe for Christmas?

We finally decided and booked a trip to Berlin. Christmas markets remain open through January, lots of activities going on in the arts (opera, symphony, theater, ballet, museums, etc.), great shopping, and there’s a miniature ski slope near the Brandenburg Gate. We haven’t been to Berlin in several years and looking forward to returning for a quick break!

Anybody with thoughts about Christmas in Piedmont?

I recommend Le Chambard (hotel) in Keysersberg. Wonderful little town and a good hotel, not too expensive, with a Michelin-starred restaurant and a very good Winstub. Some of their suites are bargains, if you want to splurge.
