Nice quick weekend in Modena to finish up our trip. We really enjoyed the area even though our time was somewhat compressed. Nice balsamic tour and tasting at Guisti on the afternoon we arrived. Dinner at Franceschetta 58 was excellent and the 2021 G. Rinaldi Langhe Nebbilo was a fantastic find on the wine list at a very reasonable 58E.
Lunch at Il Cavallino today was terrific. Really excellent overall experience. We drove up into the hills above Maranello before our meal and then hit the Ferrari museum afterwards. Lots of folks in town but nowhere near the feeling of Florence or Rome. We stayed at Hotel Central Park. Nice spot that’s a short walk to the city center.
